Based on an extensive analysis of two years of business operations, I have refined my pricing to ensure fairness and transparency for my valued clients. My experience shows that most appliance repairs fall within a cost range of $200 to $400. This range is a comprehensive estimate that includes labor, parts, and any additional services required to bring your appliance back to optimal functioning. I believe in upfront communication about costs, so my clients can make informed decisions. Rest assured, my pricing reflects my commitment to quality service, use of genuine parts, and the expertise of skills gained through years of rigorous training and education.

Diagnostic Fee – $100

The diagnostic fee is $100 plus applicable tax. The diagnostic fee DOES NOT cover any part of the repair and is NOT refundable NOR applied to the cost of repair. Diagnostic fees cover the cost of the visit to your location, a thorough assessment of your appliance issue and a written estimate of repair. This fee is disclosed upfront, so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins. The diagnostic fee is payable by credit/debit, cash, or check and is collected onsite at the end of the diagnostic appointment.

Repair Estimates Accurate & Precise

Repair estimates are provided onsite at the end of the diagnostic appointment when applicable. All estimates are provided within 48 hours. Repair estimates are itemized and broken down so you can see exactly what you are paying for. Once approval is granted for repair, replacement parts are ordered and the repair is scheduled based on the replacement parts estimated time of arrival. The Appliance Guy has no control over part availability, manufacturing restrictions or shipping times. Any changes with the repair will be communicated upfront prior to any work taking place.

Repair Charges – Pricing Varies

The labor charges for appliance repair services are separate from diagnostic fees. Repair charges are NOT based on an hourly rate. They are based on many factors including, but not limited to, complexity, difficulty, risk, tools, and supplies required. The Appliance Guy works efficiently to ensure timely repairs and minimal disruption to your daily routine.

Warranty and Guarantee – 30 Day Repair Labor Warranty

I stand behind my work and offer a 30 day warranty on labor and replaced parts for your peace of mind. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, I will fix it at no additional labor cost to you. Any additional replacement parts needed will be discussed and billed accordingly.

While I strive to provide the best service to my clients, I do not provide labor warranties for services that don’t involve the installation of replacement parts. This is primarily because the types of services that don’t require replacement parts usually involve adjustments, cleaning, or diagnostic work rather than tangible, measurable changes that are made to your appliance.

These types of general cleaning and inspection services can be influenced by a variety of external factors out of my control, such as the age of the appliance, user operation, and ongoing maintenance. On the contrary, when a replacement part is installed, I can stand behind the tangible change I’ve made, and therefore provide a warranty for the labor involved.

Cancellation Policy – 24 Hour Minimum Notice

When scheduling service with me, I specifically take time out of my day to call on your location and service your appliance. When you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on my waitlist miss the opportunity to receive services. In turn, this results in a loss of revenue which cannot be recovered. I also incur shipping and handling costs in addition to any parts purchased to complete a customer approved repair. You agree to pay these shipping and handling costs as well as the cost of the parts if they are non returnable. Consequently, I reserve the right to charge an amount equal to 100% of the service call amount for any appointment missed, canceled, or changed without 24 hours’ notice or otherwise mutually agreed.
